      Cold Air Intake

the stock piping for my air filter has a pretty bad rip in the rubber, so i figure
why not just put on a shiny intake pipe.
anyone know of any good sets to switch it all out?
what have you used, and how has it worked?
      send me some links!

Ebay again haha, chrome intakes makes the best/cheapest CAI, it is nice improvement over a stock intake or a short ram intake.

any chance this would fit to a 2010 as well? My intake has the rubber manifold connector(w/e) and its made of 3" exhaust pipe welded together at just barely the right angles.

The 09+ EcoTechs have the throttle body at a completely different angle so you would need to modify it.

jeeze, i hadn't realized they were that different. I really just need something to replace the rubber coming off of the throttle body.

Yeah any 1st gen intakes will not work, you have to make your own.

you need a 90 bend with less pipe, the earlier one does have that much of an angle, and more pipe than you need.

a 2010, with low miles, the rubber boot will be under warranty, is it torn? human error?

No tears or anything wrong with it, it just looks like crap to me considering the rest of the intake was done.
