Cold air intake

I bought this cold air intake set up

90 91 92 93 Accord DX LX EX 2 2L L4 Cold Air Intake System w Filter Blue | eBay

As referred by petrified rabbit. Some minor modifications were made. I cut the pipe with one bend at ten inches, and cut the double bend pipe about an inch into the non breather tube side. It doesn't fit as well as Petrified Rabbit's...for which I have no explanation. I will take further action once I get the hydrolock bypass valve...which...25 dollars just in case..or the alternative it seems the bypass valve is the way to go hands down.


the coupler that came with it, I cut in two, one for each side of the mass air flow sensor and it wasn't enough so I went to autozone and bought another one to make sure I had ample space to clamp the **** out of it..

the results were more than expected! the cockpit sound changed dramatically, there is a new sound..an awesome sound and it truly does seem to have more get up and go. I'm really glad I did it...when I'm said and done, I will probably have spent less than 100 dollars...

I'm very happy with the results..

I made my own using rubber hose and some metal strapping....... it works a treat, I know this because every three months I have to vacuum the bottom of the standard airbox..... about 1/2 a cup of dirt plus dried leaves and dead bugs... (I utilise a KN reusable filter)
