Crazy Problem

Ok, so I have a 09 Aveo LT and it starts shaking and will not go past 20 miles per hour and check engine light comes on. The only way I fix it, and it stays good for a long time is to shut the car off and open the gas cap then replace the gas cap. Start the car and it is fine. I can disconnect the battery to reset the check engine light. I put the car on the computer and it comes back as the Throttle Position Sensor. I replaced the throttle body but it still happens. I have even cleaned this throttle body several times ???

maybe this needs to go to a professional, im no professional, but it sounds like pressue is related.

You need to describe the shaking better. Is it shaking due to wheel balance or shaking because the engine is stalling? So does it work find in the parking lot driving under twenty? When you remove the gas cap, does it make a loud hiss as the pressure releases?

Instead of removing the battery wire, just use the computer to reset the code. I am willing to bet, if you reset the code, it will go again.
