Let me know how it goes if you go through with it, and if you think it will work for a manual.

This is a great kit! Came with awesome instructions (words AND pictures). I had it professionally installed by a mechanic friend but I literally could have done it. Very smooth operating unit. It would require an extra switch for a manual trans.

I started installing this today. Got most everything mounted but it seems that the brake connector does not fit but there is an additional part in a separate bag that I think will. I ran out of daylight and will look at it again tomorrow but I don't see yet how it fits.

I did this w/ my 2004 a few weeks back. Yah the brake connector thing messed w/ my head too but there is another connector in the bag that ties into the brake switch just fine.

Another thing that gave me problems was the throttle connector that I thought wouldn't fit but I was able to sort that out by slightly bending the bracket that came with the kit to get it to fit on.

Thanks gwar, but how did you connect the additional piece to the existing wiring? It comes with a 2-prong connector but I see nowhere to plug it in?

Brake switch is up pretty high above brake pedal. It's the only thing not highlighted in the instructions but you should have the cable that ties into the main harness. I've highlighted in this photo what I remember that cable being (short jumper with two ends for brake switch and the 2 prong sticking out of it for the main harness.
