plus put a turbo on the 1.5L and they are making over 200 whp...that seems enough to make a b-segment car go fast
200 hp on a lightweight car....works for me lol
Acura RSX Type S
Curb Weight: 2,840 lbs
Stock HP: 201
WEIGHT/HP: 14.13/1
Honda Civic Si
Curb Weight: 2,886 lbs
Stock HP: 197
WEIGHT/HP: 14.65/1
Chevy Aveo
Curb Weight: 2,343 lbs
Stock HP: 103
WEIGHT/HP: 22.75/1
At a fesaible 150hp: 15.62/1
Stretching it at 180: 13.02/1
2000 lbs @103 hp: 19.42/1
2100 lbs @150 hp: 14/1
2200 lbs @150 hp: 14.67/1
The easiest ratio to accomplish would be dropping 143 lbs and adding 47 hp.
The Aveo really isn't that light compared to Tuners. Lighten the load and add a few horses and you've got a chance. Although a turbo and forged internals would make up the difference. I don't see myself throwing out the back seat or anything. At the most I could part with a few pieces that get replaced with carbon fiber, light weight rims and sparco seats.
i think the rsx and si numbers seem to be lower than what they really are...people take a ton of crap out for saving wieght and they only got the car to wieght like 2800 lbs with a person so thats around 2640 lbs for the car
u have the info on when the header is supposed to be arriving?
the curb wieght came from intellichoice.com
