Do you guys know what these things are?

Hey Fellas,
I was doing an oil change yesterday when I discovered that a rubber dustcoveris missing from the transmission (At least I think this is part of thetransmission, It’s left of the transmission fluid pan that contains the filter) kindly see image below, I know that when thecar is running there is a wheel inside that spins, (maybe a flywheel?)
Regardless, I’m sure this is not meant to be exposed andallow crud to work its way inside. Does anyone know what this cover is called?Or know of a part number so I may buy and replace it?, I not sure if these things just popout after some time, because I didn’t remove this cover.Any help you ‘all may have regarding this item would be greatly appreciated.

The rubber thing is a grommet for the headlight

I realized what the grommet was earlier this morning. I felt like a complete fool having had forgotten.

Regarding the other item, I crawled under my car again today and with the benefit of full daylight I noticed that it is not part of the automatic transmission. It is right next to the oil pan, I think it houses the flywheel. Does your car have anything there in way of a dust cover of any type? I've just never noticed this unprotected opening before and don't want any debris building up in there and potentially causing me grief down the road. Thanks again for your help with this.
