Drive by wire (DBW) 2.0L drop in motor?

If your car is already equiped with an electronic throttle, the 2.0L's electronic throttle body should work... in theory, i'm not saying it does, i'm not 100% certain.

If you have a cable driven system, then you can simply put on a cable driven throttle body on the 2.0L, doesn't matter what year the engine is from, the throttle body will swap. I have a 2007 motor in mine and it's drive by cable, i swapped the throttle body.

You will also need the correct ecu to run the system. Meaning don't install a drive by cable ecu on a drive by wire equipped car, it won't work and vise versa.

Mine is electronic, that's why I am asking. When I do this mod, I'm going to try the theory and see what happens. If it doesn't work I can always try to hybrid the throttle, or find an aftermarket version that will work.
