I did not loose any oil pan clearance, the engine is not much taller than the stock engine.

I will see what shows are out there I love to show it around.
Cool looks great congrats.
Looks and sounds great. Would definitely like to see some videos of it going down the road. Do all of the gauges work properly? and what was your final cost?

2008 Aveo5 SV
I will think of a better signature later.
What it cost for me to drive my Aveo out there and have you do this to mine. : P Or maybe you could make all the stuff you had to fab up so someone could buy them and make this pretty much a bolt on. I really want to do this to my car.
I wonder if a 2.4 or 2.2 turbo from a chevy Cobalt would fit and how much work would it take??
well, if the 2.0 from the cobalt fit, those could be made to work as well, but for the "same" amount of work for one of those engines, it doesnt seem worth it.
2.0 ss I can get the entire car for about 2k
I have been thing about putting a kit together for other folks to do the same transplant. I used the Aveo factory mounts with adapters that I fabricated. I need to find a fabrication house that will build these for me, it would be a-lot of work to do it myself, I will see what I come up with.

All of the ecotec engine are physically the same size they are stroked differently, so if the 2.0 fits so will the 2.4
