Brand Spanking new here and I freaking love this Project. Something that I've been dreaming of doing myself. Way to complex for me but Kudos to you. Please keep us posted on any show I'd love to see this bad boy in person.

Hey,
Thehotrodguy, with the Brembo brakes did you use the stock hubs from the Cobalt SS? Is it just a matter of bolting the hubs right on? This modification is very similar to what I had in mind; however, I did not realize the Cobalt SS had Brembo that can be so easily switched over to the Aveo!
Let me know, that is to say you are still around the forum these days (or anyone else who might know, feel free to let me know), thanks!
it was not an easy swap. he made the control arms accept the cobalt ball joints.
What, that's it? Have any more information? Do you know if he did rear brakes as well? That would be a goal if I was to try this! Thanks.
this build is awesome
I'd like to know more about that hub swap too. That's a pretty cool set up.
Another question has arisen, is the spline for the Aveo 1.6L (or, if you know, the 1.4L Turbo from the Sonic) the same as the spline for the Cobalt SS on the hubs? They use nearly the same transmission right? So, one could imagine the CV joints would have the same spline?
Cheers
Edit: I seem to have missed the page where he talks about the shafts, my bad! This Brembo modification is a handful, maybe too much!
