any reason why you went with the supercharged engine vs turbo? Was it the cost? I've rode in the turbocharged cobalt and that thing pulls ass

that is what I've wanted to do for a while. I've had the worst luck finding anything that cheap. If u could send me more info on this via this website or this email (fitzynation@gmail.com) that would be great.

OK I know that is has been a while but I have an update, the engine and trans are now installed in the car. I had a hell of a time trying to get the trans lined up wail in the car. The only way to get the whole thing to work was to remove the engine and mate the trans to the engine on the ground. To get the engine and the trans between the frame rails you will need to remove the cross member and then re-install it after the engine and trans are bolted up. See installed engine below

One of the problems that I ended up with is that the ABS pump is in the way of the shift levers, to fix this problem I will be moving the pump about 2 inches inward.

Below are some pics of the installed axles and the modified suspension, I am using a cobalt spindle and balljoint.

The picture below is of the front of the engine and the installed axle on the passenger side.

I will keep up with the updates, things should start to move quicker now.

I have done all of the work myself, the only thing I have had done outside was the conversion of the engine harness to a stand alone. But I am not too sure about the work that was done I might have to make some modifications to get it to fire up.
