Ecotec needs more HP

200 hp in a 2000 lb car is better than 400 hp in a 4000 lb car.


Ill get more specific. HP does not mean everything, gearing matters too. BUT:

The aveo is 2100-2500 lbs. 426 hp Camaro is 3908lbs, 435hp Mustang 3705lbs, 375 hp challenger is 4082 lbs.

So, simplified:

Weight to hp.. Camaro is 9.17 lbs per hp. Mustang is 8.5 lbs per hp. Challenger is 10.88 lbs per hp.

Gearing aside, that means the Aveo only needs @ 194 hp to beat the Challenger (worst) and @ 260 hp to be the mustang (best of three).
