      ecotec pulleys??

Perhaps we can try this again. I remember the old thread couldnt quite get 10 people for the buy in on a crank pulley. Can someone with the proper connections and interest revive this idea??

We just need a machinist. Remember sonic/cruze/ astra owners should be able to use this part as well

Can you get some pictures of the pulley Pooh Man? I'm thinking there might already be ones made for other ecotec engines that will fit.

      Here is one possibility:

5 ribs - Ecotec Lightweight Crank Pulley - 2.0LNF/2.2/2.4: by Make and Model - Chevrolet - Cavalier - 5 ribs Ecotec Lightweight Crank - Car Performance Parts And Auto Accessories | MRZ Performance

Here is a comparison pic of the stock vs MRZ underdrive pulley:

Eh, looks like that is probably a dead end. According to this site, the part numbers are different. They also appear different in the diagram, but it would be nice to check actual images of them.

Darin and I were going to do a group buy for the ecotec, but after it flopped the first time we shied away due to liability issues. I don't believe the underdrive pulley will harm anything, but that never stopped anyone from suing anyone (even if they forget to change the oil ever)...
