Has anyone tried HPTuners? I feel like we are all pretty knowledgeable with the car and could probably get that going

On a side note I got my hands on a complete fuel rail with injectors from an Ecotec LE5 (2.4L). I'll let you guys know if it fits in the LXV (1.6L) motor

I contacted HPTuners and they said they were unable to do it.

Anyways rabbit where is the ECU located? Is it the module between the shifter and e-brake under the plastic housing? And if thats the case I may see if I can get a spare from the pick and pull and see what happens. I would be willing to give it a go. I just may need some assistance as far as pointing me in the right direction and running with it.

Well maybe I need to do some searching/finding. I am not sure off the top of my head where it's at in the bay then.
Do you know what the thing between the ebrake and shifter is then haha :P

It is for the airbags most likely. the ecu is on the driver side in the engine bay by the battery, big silver looking box thing.

Upsolute is a large name company. It not like dealing with a small reprogrammer, custom tune, etc.

The engine choice for the tune is correct, its more so a matter of the emissions being a problem, or if the tune takes some other part out of range. But from my understanding, tuning now no longer requires rewriting the whole ecu like it used to, it just writes the fuel maps, etc. So it should not affect anything else the ecu controls.
