? That's why you fudge the aveo motor, swap in a 2.4L ecotec.

so i think im going to just do the build on my own....i can find an engine for pretty cheap and ill just have to do some real in depth research into where i need to go to get all the parts....and the turbo can be done at a local shop here who specificaly does custom turbos....and then the tuning i will do.
lol why is anyone responding to this. This guy and many others keep bringing up these posts about higher performance parts and nothing ever happens. Heres a good tip, don't come here saying your going to invest 10k in your aveo because your probably like 18 years old, and will never come close to engine swaps or anything.

he's 18, I dont know how hes going to come up with 10k to swap engines that might not fit, then build it to run 12's, unless parents are paying for it. Even then its all talk until it happens, this must have been his 3rd thread about basically the same subject. and gj on the doll post

Something that bothers me (besides a loan to buy car parts) is that you are ok with dropping 3 grand on an imported crankshaft for DOUBLE what a custom forged one from the US would cost. Same can be said for pistons, rods, and the transmission...
I also don't think there is any way in the world that 250whp will push the Aveo to 12's without stripping it as you already said no to.
