Yeah, it'll take a whole lotta effort to get an Aveo into the 12s. There is always a lot of talk talk talk on these forums.
Here's a radical idea: actually do it first without yakking about it, and once it's done, then post it. Radical cuz it'll never happen...

      thank you

Even if it was in the 12's it wouldn't be a daily driver anymore, or it'd be rough to drive every day with it stripped and being very loud.

Why buy any car and drag race it?

GTi: Arguably the single best handling FF car out of the factory. Doesn't deserve to have it's life reduced to the drag strip.

Cobalt: A proven and successful spec racing vehicle... see above.

Chevy Aveo: A proven and successful rally car. see above.

Try some racing where the times actually matter
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far the wall moves after you hit it.

Yeah drag racing doesnt take much skill, you can train a monkey to drag race. Or just throw a brick on the pedal

yah i could beef it up for rally but i like street racing...which is either freeway roll races....or dig races.....soooo well see i think i might go small right now and get exhaust and some smaller things....and then slowly buy the pieces to build the turbo set up.
