I'm actually going to be taking the engine out and spray paint the engine bay properly together with the engine. The racing "r" was the only thing sensible enough to put in place of the antenna. If there's an LED chevy emblem that lights up, I'm all ears, otherwise the "r" stays ;)
You should just do the mesh grille and move your chevy bowtie to the roof.
you are a god to me wolfman   :lol:Quote:

Yes, I'm quoting my own post, but I think that gold paint on the back of the bowtie can be removed with some paint thinner...it might be cool if you stripped that gold crap out so it's completely clear and tint some clear to smoke out the emblem just enough to make it look black and then light that bitch up with leds!!! It might look kinda tight.Quote:

Cool! Nice project.
I recently bought an 04 Aveo with a blown engine (T-belt broke). I was thinking of swapping in a Suzuki 1.6L with a dual cam head from the 1.3L. The only reason being because I've got a ton of Suzuki engines and parts from my 1990 Swift GT rally car.
But I went with rebuilding the original Daewoo engine instead.
