    Thread: Engine light on? (-40 to -50 in Alaska - is that why?)

      I remember reading a technical service bulletin about a recall for the throttle bodies in a certain vin sequence. I'll have to see if I can find it and if I can I'll post it in this thread.

      First off good god -50 that poor car ive never heard of oil freezing up ive heard of it getting to thick.Id start by running i thinner oil in winter and changer your mix of coolant. This might be a dumb question but do you have a block heater. One more question when you stop does the car die or shutter like it wants to if so id say its your throttle body.
