Engine Options

Hello guys looking to get an engine for a 2009 Aveo5 LT. Was this the first year for this engine? Plan on getting an engine from a yard so what are my year options? Having issues finding a 2009. However seem to have a fair pic of 2010s and pretty much any 2008 and earlier.

I think the 2010 engine should be OK. 2008 and earlier are a no-go. 2009 was the first year they changed to the EcoTec engine.
