I have an 09 aveo sedan and my car studders when i accelerate. while i was at school I pulled up on all data the technical service bulletins and there is on for chevy 2011 and prior passenger cars and light trucks. what this bulletin is about is it says water or anti freese getting it the A/T tranny causing your car to studder when shifting or accelerating. pull your dip stick out and if your fluid looks cloudy(and in extreme cases it may look like a strawberry mike shake)according to all-data. there is a test kit you can do which i assume your chevy dealer should have or should do because it being an 09 i assume it is under warranty. I am going to get mine checked hopfully tomorrow. I will let you know if it turns out to be the case.

I can shut the car off let it sit for a few minutes, when I restart, half the time its still at 2000, half the time its normal. It did this over the summer time when it was hot out. I performed a fuel injection and fuel induction service, cleaned the throttle body, replaced the IAC. The aveo worked fine for a few months, now its acting up with the high idle again. Their has even been a few scattered instances lately where it almost sounded like their was a small backfire too. Work that has been done in the last 2 years, ign coil plugs and wires, cat and air/fuel sens, complete AEM intake, injection and induction service, IAC, coolant flush, timing belt water pump both idler pulleys, drive belt and tensioner. If anyone has any input, it would be greatly appreciated. I am tired of messing with the car
temp switch. sounds like your stuck in warm up even when you dont need it.

thats for a radiator failure, and on cars with a particular manufacturer of rad if i recall correctly.

your problem is more likely plugs, a coil pack or even an o2.
