Engine ticking. Have Video of it posted!

it might sound like it is coming from the intake, if you want to localize the sound use a mechanic stethoscope to find the sound. If you do not have one use a piece of hose and put it to your ear. I am sure if you open up the oil fill cap and it the hose their it will sound the loudest. If that is the case it is most likely your lifters.

Hi, i have also a problem with the lifters - ticking 5 seconds after engine start at cold.
Could you pls tell me if it is really bad or i can continue to use the car without replacing the nok lifters.
I use oil Gm 5w30 Dexos 2 - the car has 90000 km

Is there a specific way the lifters should be put in? upon removal we didnt realize how they were placed... now putting in back together we are not certain if the hole should be situated a specific way
