      exhaust dump

I believe I know the answer, but I want anothers opinion.

If I place an exhaust dump in front of the main cat (aka 2nd o2 sensor) will it cause the o2 sensor to throw a fit?

damn thats a pimp trick. I doubt it would there would be much gain by putting the dump in front of my highflow cat as oppossed to directly behind it

Go to any auto parts store. If they dont have it, they can order it.

In an N/A car I don't see any advantage to doing this.

I recenelty had a bung plug fall out for my wideband bung that I'm not currently using, it was just after the headers, and with that thing out I had like nothing below 4k RPMs, with the whole exhaust opened up there I can't imagine making any powder below 10k rpms.

Also having a exhaust dump will create more hassle for the exhaust getting out when the things closed.

now wait, if the 2nd sensor just wants to know if there is less gunk then wouldnt it not matter if the dump was before, because then either way there is less gunk getting to the 2nd o2

Good point, but I'd like to think it's looking for more detail than just less stuff. I think the only purpose of the 2nd o2 sensor is to make sure the CATs are doing the job.
