Hello friends,

a friend of us fights with an Aveo with F14D3 engine and frequent engine stalls when she releases the accelerator.
Local servicepeople have already tried some countermeasurements with mixed results. One put another used EGR valve and the problem seemed to be fixed for a while. But the owner only trusts new parts, and to be honest since EGR valves are prone to collecting dirt I'm with her.
Now the problem is that the local parts dealer didn't find any replacement valve. I have examined the old used part and I can't fond any reference number or manufacturer designation. Sounds somewhat strange to me, the cars I'm used to (VW, Mercedes) all have the part number printed on the part somewhere.
However, the only similar part I've found is recommended for F16D3. Are they essentially the same? Which catalogue should I look up for the part? The ones I know (Bosch, Lucas, Pierburg) don't have anything for this engine....
