Everybody says they are going to turbo their car, no one ever does.

See before I do any work under the hood I want to change the rear suspension from leaf springs to coils. Then i want to change the transmission from the 4 speed to a 5 or 6 speed manual. Then i'll hit the engine after i get everything else worked out. I have another car though so I don't have to use the aveo. I was just wondering what's going on so that if need be i can reference this thread when I get there.

Leaf springs? I think you should do a little more research man, I haven't seen leaf springs on a passenger car since the early 90s (not including minivans, suvs and trucks)

I would start spending some time on How stuff works and learn the proper names for parts. That will take you far.
