      Food for thought...

Does anyone else think this car would be awesome with a small diesel in it?

I'm a diesel mechanic so I tend to think of those kinds of things...

yeah a small diesel would do and be very economical as well as more powerful and tougher.....I'm a fan of diesel engines myself.
I leased Pontiac Wave from September 2006 to August 2011.

That twin turbo diesel from the corsa would be sweet

Either way, diesels win... can make your own fuel... and are so easy to get more power out of... more fuel, more boost.

I really think we'll start to see a lot more diesels in the states, in cars you wouldn't normally expect, in coming years. Big thanks to the LeMans Audi team, and the other teams running diesels. The R10 victories keep piling up, and so does the support for diesel.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far the wall moves after you hit it.

They sound awesome when straight pipe....especially on a 550 Cat or Detroit Diesel.... Of course those engines are a little wee bit bigger than what would fit in an aveo....

i love the sound of a semi with huge pipes, especially when they downshift on the hwy or sumitn.
