Got the header!!! Can't wait to put it on tonight after work :D :D :D
Did you already put it on? If not, would it be possible to get some pictures of the inside of the individual ports as well as some inside shots of the collector. Just curious as to how good the design/assembly is.
When I installed my header the head bolts were too long and the threads ran out before allowing the nut to be tightened to the head. I simply put another nut in-between as a spacer.
I have to take them off again tonight to repaint. But I will get some more pictures for you of the actual inside.
I have attached what i have done so far.
And ya mine didn't fit either it required to nuts. I have to go to a hardware store to pick up more now. But i can tell you this... My car is stupidly loud when it accelerates....
I had to grind off most of the bolts for the cat anyway too, everything was so rusted it on it, it was impossible to take off by normal tools :D
oh is an ebay header?, looks very good, how do you feel the engine response?...
Do you know a software to desing headers?...
Y have an ecotec engine andi think it don't fit's it...
Well Software to design headers... umm I am an engineering major so I would suggest AutoDesk Inventor or Auto CAD. I mean you could try google sketch up but it I haven't gotten used to it yet so.....
Anyway ya these are Xaiogary's headers, they are being shipped from singapore.
Also I do notice a difference in throttle response, but not really in overall horsepower..... that also maybe because I have around 400 lbs of audio equipment in my trunk XD
HAhahah mabe be that...
Well in weight of audio, Have a 500/1 , PPI DCX300.4, 13W6v2, waiting to install, but it compenses the weight, because I lowered the ssupension whit the eibach pro-kit, the front of the car going down more, with the time, and i need to compense...
I se one software, i need to find the desingn ideal to gas flush, excuse my bad english...
save yourself time, buy a exhaust to head gasket create a pdf or cad file of it. and get it cut out of 3/8" steel. but a 1.8 honda (or similar header) cut off the flange and rebend the pipes to fit into your newly cut flange, weld.
$50-100 flange, $75 ebay manifold, and some work.
Rabbit is right.... save yourself the time and money... you will have to drop around $400 to get that header from xaiogary.... and I have 2x XS D3100 (100lbs) 2x DD9512s both were on 2 American bass 500.1s and I had a lot of midrange equipment including 2x MB Quart Discus 4.125s
And to be honest if I could I would have probably gone with a high flow cat vs the cat delete.... just saying
i would pay $400 for a bolt on part, but a ecotec header is not available. paying someone to design all the pipes etc will probably be over $1000 easy. too much for header.
go straight to the cutter, not a fab shop.
verify (since i personally havent looked) that your gasket "sticks out" from the current manifold, to be sure there will be enough there.
even cheap, but would "cost" more time, would be to cut the flange off the stock manifold and just reuse/weld to that. Not as nice finished product, unless you mill the face, but "free"
I would be interested to know what measures the header for the E-TECII and the pipe diameter and pipe length, the length of the tube before and after the curve, both horizontal and vertical, I would really appreciate it ...
Currently I have a high flow catalytic converter, in the place where he was the second catalyst, but I remove the first, hoping that I do not check error and does not pollute, will trust in my catalyst MagnaFlow spun and mandrel bent stainless steel elbows, leave both sensors close together, as one would in the collector and the other before the catalyst ....
I insist on making my header, it seems I have found a place where I can do a 4-1'll also regardless that my machine differs from E-TECII laq, as the main cartalizador, this motor comes separately, here the OEM system ...

T EXHAUST MANIFOLD (LXT/1.6);. Fits: Aveo T200 Hatchback, Aveo T250 Notchback, G3 | Nalley Buick GMC Brunswick
And in the ECOtec come together and the cat exhaust, and also more expensive to change even the OEM, as shown here on my G3, Performed by MagnaFlow, all at 2 ", I'll improve a bit from the flexible model for soon as the header is ...

IŽll apreciate to much your help...
I have the gasket, from the ECOtec 1.6L and i see is like the header, i tomorrow get up a pic, can you tell me the dimensions?, please of the pipes? i think this is header goes up the cat, but i remember other model without the principal cat, is like i try to do it...
this is the gasket is similar, the plate from exhaust header in this post, but i want the meassures...

the ecotec gasket should not have that egr passage on it?
