I love the LOVE and HELP that goes around this board!!!

As far as EVERYTHING to turbo the car? Not yet. We may have to become a dealer for e-manage ultimate, as it's one of the few that I would use.

What this kit is LACKING is charge piping and an intercooler, as well as an ECU, Injectors, Boost Gauge, so on, so forth.

Mucho to come this weekend! I have ahold of Whiteraven's car (while they take their cute daughter to disneyland for the weekend ) and will probably get bored and build a bunch of different stuffs!

so when do you project the manifold being done and up for sale? also are you going to block off the EGR? what size turbo are you going to use, obviously something small for fast spool up time. or are you guys still in the process of planing?
do you think we would need e-manage ultimate, or do you think we could get away with the blue e-manage.

      good questions.

the manifold might be ready within the week, and will be flanged for garrett t3 and borgwarner t3 (yes, they are different flanges). We are doing the best we can for this manifold to NOT require a half radiator, while still being functional/efficient.

The RR manifold will be stainless 304L, and run about $290 with a 38mm wastegate flange, or $255 without.

EDIT*-- I guess I should answer ALL the questions hunh? EGR is blocked, standard e-manage is ok, just not enough tuning capabilities, and turbo specs are up in our heads, we wont necessarily spill the beans just yet. Let's just say it will be a t3/t4 set up for efficient street/track use.

nice, sounds like you guys have some good ideas to start. i am very interested in seeing some pics of the manifold. the price for the manifold is a little high but mabye i am just being a cheap ass .

also i am interested to see if you will be able to use the stock radiator. i was taking some messurements and i dont know how possible it is going to be, but i guess with the right design for the manifold you could make it happen.

well please keep us updated, i am very interested in seeing your guys progress, and im stoked to see people in the comunity are making an effort to create products.

I was going to buiuld my kit, and still might. but time is allways the issue.

correct on the manifold prices... i miscalculated. I edited the above post, but the manifold will be $290 with WG flange, $255 w/o WG flange. 304L SS shorty-ram turbo manifold flanged for t3. Yes, it is a tight TIGHT fit, and were hoping we can make it work, because that would make me happy to say the least .

As for your kit, you could at least use our manifold, simplify things for you.

Also, a new bumper is also in the works to replace the factory bumper. It will be reinforced steel, and have brackets to mount the bumper covers and turn signals, like on the factory bumper. What's different about it is it will be about half as tall as the factory bumper, so mounting an aftermarket airdam will be 10k times easier, and mounting points for our intercooler will be attached, so it all just gets easier and easier...

cool man sounds great. yeah when you get the manifold done please post some pics, i would love to check it out. if its quility work im all about it. there was a log style manifold on ebay, and i wasnt really feeling it. so i was just going to fab one. like i said post some pics. mabye you shoul think about doing a group buy for them when you create them.

oh and the bumper sounds great as well, im glad to see you guys are on the right track of producing a quility kit.

i was going to make some bumper brackets out of alum, and tig them cause im not to concernd with the saftey. but if you offer your at a nice price i might pick on of those up as well. the mounts for the intercooler is great.

The bumper will be steel, should still weigh less than factory. I've been welding for 1-2 years with TIG, 5 on MIG, and have alot of metallurgy schooling on me. I just like building things...lol. If it means anything, I hang out with a few of the guys from Full-Race...
