      group buy! Wiseco Pistons

I'll be placing a big order with Wiseco Pistons.

Normal MSRP on a full set of custom Wiseco pistons with pins and rings is $700.00 shipped.

I will be taking orders for a one time price of $520.00 shipped.

you can choose any bore you want, any compression ration.

the final order will be their minimum of $10000.00 (15 sets) all I need is 5 sets to finish the order.

this will be the ONLY option for high quality custom pistons unless someone else can do better, and trust me I've contacted EVERY company that is worth speaking to and this is the best price ANYWHERE!

after the group buy is over the price will go back up to $600.00 (not sure if I can include shipping into that).

The aveo rods are supposidly Forged according to a fact sheet I saw posted on deawootech.

      hopefully that will entise buyers...

Oh and we will probably need a sample piston too.
I believe they are like $11-$15 on gmpartsdirect.com or msrp (from the dealer) is $20... according to gmpartsdirect.

What's the advantage to having aftermarket pistons? In particular, what's great about these ones?

Also what's the definition of the bore/compression ration?
"If I parked a T-72 tank in my back yard, aimed the cannon towards Mexico, and muttered something
about protecting my village from an invasion, the police would show up and probably haul me away."

The bore is the diameter of the piston... If you want to stroke the motor, need larger pistons...

Compression ratio... well, the ratio of compression for the motor. There are many different ways to go, but the lower the compression, the more boost pressure the motor can withstand... in MOST cases... not all...

Advantage to having aftermarket pistons is to lower the compression...
