What year is your Aveo? I followed the link but it says it's not right for my 2010 and I couldn't find the Continental Kit for that year model. I'm also looking for one with a metal impeller.

Mine is a 2006.
Starting in 2009 they went to different engine:
1.6L Ecotec engine with variable valve timing and 106 hp (79 kW) standard on all models
It had a 100,000 mile timing belt and some other stuff that made even more fuel efficient. Of course that get eaten by the extra weight of extra features.

The previous model used a variation of the ETEC engines that had fixed timing and the 60,000 mile timing belt. Many victims have fallen to that belt.

Thanks for the information. The one I bought just rolled past 100k and as soon as I have the cash I'm replacing the belt since I don't know if it has ever been done.
