would any of these headers fit?

i think both of those would fit the same.. but neither of them are a direct bolt on to the aveo. but after the modification needed, either could work.
do you know what kind of modifications would be needed for it to fit?
at least cutting off, and then welding a flange to the where it meets the head. possibly bending and reshaping the tubes to match the new flange. and then if the shape of the header causes any interference, in the rest of the engine compartment you will need to move, or adjust for that. possibly need to change the connection at the exhaust to match up.
i think its like making a custom header, but you are using this header for "donor" pipes instead of cutting and bending your own. but you should be able to get away with the rest of it too.. so its probably just the flange at the head.
holy crap dont spend 300 dollars on a header that will need to be hacked up....I've got a d16 header sitting here in my room that is good quality off ebay for 50-60 bucks shipped. Also look into header from the 1.8L from other gmdat cars
A header only cost $200+ in Singapore. If you want, I can have it shipped. Its direct bolt on. No mod needed. If you guys order in bulk, it will save on shipping. Or else shipping is the one that kills due to the big size of box needed.
how much will shipping be for just 1
i was searching around for brakes and i found these headers by pacesetter, they dont say they are universal...hmmmm

none of those will fit. the give away (beyond the fact they come in pairs) is that they are block huggers for fitting between the engine and frame rail.
Shipping will be $80US.
So a set inclusive of shipping will be $350US.
It will joing direct to your flexible pipe, meaning its a CAT-DELETE long 4-1 header. Direct fit. No cutting or welding needed. Direct bolt on. No modification needed for aveo.
when you say cat delete, does that mean the cat converter has to be removed
it usually means the header is the length of the original header and cat.
so this header bolts directly to the mid pipe. and there is no spot of the cat.
Forgive me if this has already been asked, but if you remove the catconverter, what do you do with the oxygen sensor? Is there a bung on the header for it?

the second one might be there. but you will probably get a cat efficiency code unless you space to O2 out or run a mil eliminator.
Yes. There is a screw thread for you to screw in the oxygen sensor, no need to cut or weld. Beening using exactly same header for 3 years. Occasionally engine check light comes on for one or two trip every 1-2 months, but its harmless and will disappear after some time. There is no power cut or fuel cut due to this engine check light. I have a OBDII scanner, so once the engine check light comes on while driving, I just delete the fault code while driving. And its back to normal.
is this the header from rdyautocare ( i think thats the name)
i emailed them about it but they never responded.
i'm in though if you can get me that header your talking about =)
Did you ever attempt to install that header?Quote:

Hey!
Dont use just any header for your car, remember there is a lot of r&d that goes into those headers.
Each header will be designed with the correct width of each pipe, how long it needs to be and if it needs to be 4-1 or 4-2-1! Plus it has been designed with your engine in mind, cam duration, valve opening etc.
This determines how much torque you will gain and where in da rev range it will work.
So only use specific header for aveo or ecotec 1.6 16v.
So did I miss something?Quote:

SO, how did that D16 Header work?
Or here in South-Africa, headers for my 8-valve and for 16v ecotec is available.
everyone keeps saying they are running these cat-less headers, but are they even legal, and will my car pass inspection if i use one? also, for everyone who keps saying they are getting there parts from singapore and south africa, POST SOME DAMN LINKS. i'v been using the internet since i can remember, but i'll be damned if i can find these ****ing sites your all claiming to be getting parts from...
hit up xiaogary from singapore. thats where i got mine from =)
For the catless header, go to ebay a search "Aveo Header".... you'll find it.Quote:

If you have to pass emissions testing, well then you may be out of luck.
Did you go with spark-plug-fouler method to prevent CEL? And did you ever try to run emission test with this car since the cat-less header got installed?Quote:

Yes, you are digging in the graveyard, again.
But the question you ask, for the bunch of us in the U.S. is worth it.
