too little tension = slipping belt, lose of time.

too much tension = faster wear, possibly breakage. you can really over tighten the belt form "spec" and it will still last fine. the think i noticed is the pointer on the tension wiggles as the belt goes around, it goes up and down form the notch.. it is spring loaded after all.
