Kind of depends on how long it leaked. If it was like mine I wound up soaking the entire engine bay in simple green/engine degreaser and blasted it all clean with a pressure washer while I had the head off for other work. Brake cleaner helps get some of the gunk, but its a messy job!
It didn't leak too bad. Front of the head at both ends has a little buildup on it. And some on lower block just below oil filter where it spilled out during oil changes. Don't think a pressure washer will be necessary. Not crazy about the idea of using one on the engine bay anyway. I know a lot of people do with no problems. Just not for me.
You should be fine with some rags and brake clean then. Yeah im not real fond of getting the engine wet and only do it while everything is 'cold' (no battery), so best to just wipe up the bulk oil slick and let nature do the rest.

My brother gave me some Schaeffers special lubricants Citron degreaser. Sprayed some on and greasy just kinda started rolling off.
