      where does it put the filter...pretty low? because the other kits puts it right outside the hole and ive driven in floods and not hydrolocked the thing

      Eh, no worries. I have a bypass valve to connect the CAI to the intake manifold. It also allows greater flex than a silicone adapter (so no banging around under a bad downshift or violent rev)


      You can get by-passes for CHEAP.

      The other benifit to being directly in teh airstream like that was that it gained additional pressure with speed... over 60mph and you could tell there was an additional amount of air going into the engine.
