How to use 2 ECMs (mr-140) for shorted out fuel sensor

Hi Guys,

My original ECM got shorted out on the fuel sensor and the A/C pressure sensor ground line.

i got another ECM which works ok, but car wont start with that(i think due to immobiliser and Key transponder)

so i want to keep the old ECM and connect the 2nd ECM on only the fuel sensor pins, see diagram

1. will this setup work,
2. any advise on how to do it, i assume i only need to power the 2nd ECU with ground and +Ve

so i found out that the fuel gauge only responds to only pulse ie up/down. giving it a ground or +V directly doesnt move the needle.

and even this works only when the car is parked.

any help?
