I need to find a CAI for my 09 Aveo.

I need to find a CAI for my 09 Aveo. I don't won't to spend the money to replace the cheap rubber hose just to have it split again. Can anyone help me?

Just get the cheap rubber hose. Otherwise your best bet is to piece together some spectre pieces from pep boys.

this could be modified to fit.. If you are only going to do the flex pipe, you basically need a 90ish degree elbow and the length to the MAF..

Just get the hose. Cheap CAI setups are useless.

That hose isn't for the 2009+. There's a big price difference between the two. The air intake hose for the 2009+ runs around $170-$185. And, it seems like the hose break pretty easily to justify spending that much money. My 2011 has cracked just recently.

Ah, I see said the blind man.

Looks like the reason the prices get driven so high is that they call come with a new MAF sensor. You can find them for $90 at rockauto.com, but I agree thats still steep. Maybe you can find something at a local junkyard.

Junkyard seems like the best choice. Rockauto didn't have the part when I looked. It's #96808176.
