Throttle sticking and erratic idle, high back to normal then gets up to 2k rpm

Here's what we have done

Take down entire intake manifold and cleaned/Degreased everything, including rail, injectors, IACV, MAP, checked all vacuum lines and degreased the throttle body, as well as all lines

Solved the Throttle sticking issue due to gunk on throttle,

Now she just idles fine then once in a while jumps to 2k or 3k rpm

i dont wanna adjust the factory throttle stop screw since its still in the stock position.

Is there a Service or Diagnostic's port that may need grounding or bypassing kinda like a Toyota or Mazda to get the ecu to relearn or reset the base idle properly?

or is there a proper procedure for setting base idle to get the ecu into base idle mode?

Plugged in an OBD2 Scanner and Found an Issue on TPS, due to molested Throttle Stop Screw Setting, getting setting and testing now.

Does anyone have Voltage Parameters on the TPS? For example, acceptable range anywhere from 0.45 to 0.55V

It could be the throttle body it self. I bought my Aveo in 2011. Six months later I was having the same issue except my car would kill. Funny thing is, it only ever did it when it was wet out side or after I took it though the car wash. So i took it to the dealer, told them what was going on. They were able to duplicate the problem and got it replaced. I couldn't tell you how much it cost because it was under warranty, so I didn't pay a thing.

When posting a problem description, you should give they year and mileage. Folks with new Aveos will tell you that their TB is bad, and there seems to be a chronic problem on the newer ones with that. However, I don't think this is the case for the 04-06 (and maybe a few more years as well). The TPS on these older ones can be replaced, but from what I've read the newer ones were "improved". So now on the newer ones instead of replacing the TPS, you need to replace the entire TB instead. Progress
