      Increasing top end power?

I have recently found a 1.8 to swap into my Wave, but I understand it has a similar power curve to the 1.6. I know the 30hp bump will be noticeable, but I think more top end would be fun on backroads (lots around me). Is there a simple port job I could do? I also plan on fabbing up a long tube header.
