installed my exhaust (update)

installed my fart can yesturday, but don't like the angle of the muffler so will have to fix it leter on in the summer

pretty decent, the angle does need fixed though. I think I may get an exhaust sometime soon, but it will definitely be a flow master or magnaflow

leave a resonator!!! otherwise u will be usin that silencer all the time!!! i know...

took a drive on a highway with the silencer in and its still aloud
and had a cop giving me a dirty look on the way home

how deep is the silencer? if its a shallow one (3-4 inches) then it wont do u much good and u may as well leave it out. the longer it is the better. my silencers are about 8 inches a piece and they kill the noise by at least 35-40%.

When I met Mike, his silencers were in and the car sounded very nice. I like a deep tone and not the farty ricer sound we hear on every honda or toyota that goes by...

dude what happened to the JDM "lean" you were goona do? and i have no resonators and a 2" and its really loud but ive never had a problem with tho police...... well not for the volume of the exhaust anyway<---remembers he just got his liscence and car back lmfao

Yeah, I'm not looking for loud, I like a deep tone that might help with MPG and maybe a little ooomph...it sounds like I should keep both resonators in and pipe after them to a new muffler?

I get loud with my Harley, Vance and Hynes Pro Pipe HS with the drag baffle, but only when I really twist the throttle...

My truck has the Gibson super truck system, low throaty and unique.

with mine i simply changed the end peice from the rear wheels, unbolted it and welded up a flange (to bolt onto existing pipe)2.25" piping going into a cannon tailpipe keeping all the reasonators and stuff. sounds deep and mean. i got a lil better accelaration and the fuel consumption stayed around the same.

took it for a run to mildura (320kms away(200miles)) and back stayed at 140km/hr (bout 90miles/hr) on 1 and a half fuel tanks (80LT (21Gallons))
