So is it higherr orr lower compression?

I assume higher since your setting it up for a turbo. If thats the case I'm supposed to lose up to 15% of my whp with my lower compression pistons, but they'll allow me to boost twice as much on the ssame octane gas.
      dont you mean lower compression?
When you turbo an engine, you should use low compression pistons because if you use high compression pistons there will be too much pressure inside of the cylinder from the boost and the compression (not good). That can result in extreme engine failure. Low compression pistons keep the compression lower because there is already enough pressure inside the cylinder from the pressurized air coming in.

In N/A engines, it is better to use high compression pistons because you want to compress the a/f mixture as much as you can before the spark goes off to make more power. There also is a thing like too much compression in a N/A engine but that problem is solved with higher octane fuel and better head gaskets.
