      intake manifold

      has anyone ever tried removing? is it easy/hard? i have the bolt removal/install procedure, just need anything else to help me, like where the bolts are located.

      if you have the procedure, then that should give you a clue..

      depending on why you are pulling it determines how hard or how much the tear down will be.. if your just taking it form the head for a head gasket, then you can kind of leave it all connected and tuck it out of the way..

      Every time I look at mine, I give up. Lucky for me, I've only been as deep as TB removal. some day I am going to dump out that oil pooling and do more than a "poking" to the EGR tube with an old throttle cable.

      08 SV HB with almost 130,000 mi.
