The pictures turned out pretty dark, but you can see what you got. There is no flap to remove. This is from a 2005 Aveo though, Etec-II, not ecotec.

Ok thwnks for the pics and info that will save me tearing it down for nothing
Thanxs for the pic. Im heart broken. Any other cheap power adders? Please chime in....
Well the short ram air intake. I know it helped mine mid to high end. Its also sounds good and re usabol air filter I thin 37 bucks on ebay I believe for the complete kit. I had to make my own mounting bracket. If interested I could show you how or I could even make one amd mail it and I heard with the intake. If you get a high flow muffler that helps witg mid to high end and improves gas mileage. As well. And if you eanted louder exhaust removing the resignator and cat will give more power and make irt a lot louder. The muffler is lile 26 on ebay free shippjng. But you'd need to wield it on muffler shop unless you know how to wield and all that good stuff. But other then cheap that's all I have found and came up with.
Pooh man/daox, that's an e-tec intake Mani. The ecotec might be quite different.
Yeah, I should have clarified that in my post. I updated it.
Opened up my 2011 and this is what I found
Sorry officer... with all of your stickers and strobes I thought you wanted to race
In your opinion are there any"casting "to ridges or bumps worth filing down or this is something to be let go.
I wouldn't bother I didn't see anything that could be done. If anything I would ground the TB and leave the manifold as is
