Good question... don't forget that the VGIS is part of the stock manifold so unless you're boosting you'll probably lose power overall...
Too bad it's plastic so you can't at least port/polish/extrude-hone
Can you fabricate one and incorporate the VGIS into it? Or use another vehicles and rewire the sensor.....
I thought the Lanos one fits and is metal. Maybe I'm remembering wrong
i believe you have to have the lanos head as well.Quote:

i dunno...but i was saying you can take the lanos intake mani and head and intsall it onto our car....u could always cast the intake mani but i have no idea whats goin on the inside
It would be easier to just get the lanos head and intake mani.
Has anyone tried stopping the valve that changes the the intake runner lenght? Either always open or always closed?
People have tried it on the Lanos.
I can promise, with 100% certainty, that you will loose power by trapping it always open or always shut.
Check out the "E-Tech Mod" on the following link for my own personal results.Quote:

One other thing I'd like to mention is when the Lanos kicks over to the shorter runners, you definately know. I believe it's because of the larger inner diameter of the intake.
um, I can build one. Expect one in the future from whiteraven (and I)...
