its tough to really compare mpg on just a tank of gas. outside temp divided by barometer pressure multiplied by date of gas manufactured times add packs in gasoline at the time over how much water got into gas(quality) divided by which brand of gas used + the grade of gas used = you get the idea way too many variables to try to rely on 1 tank of gas for an accurate mpg
