Yea that's a lot different then My 2008. Id love to do some performance to my car but they don't make any thing for it. I got some lowering springs I need to put in for it. lol I need to just cut it up and put Honda motor mount in it for a b swap or something.

That would be quick but if u dont find a header port the one u got n if Im right ur precat bolts on. Take it off n replace with test pipe. I ve also debated on a 35 shot of nitrous.

I redline my Aveo too often, I had something like this it would make the problem worse. Truth be told, I need to downgrade back to having a muffler so I stop abusing this engine!

I'm looking on his site and can't find a header for an aveo. Only thing I found for a 1.6 is for a Peugeot. Any ideas what it's listed under?

I contacted them about a manifold for my E-Tech II, waiting a response. After exploring the option of modding a Honda header, it would have been more cost effective to just have one made for the Aveo. At least for me, I have the skill but no ability to fabricate anything at the moment.
Will keep you updated as far as 2008 and under.

I see one issue with the setup, the O2 sensor is mounted on one tube and should be on the collector to read the gasses from all 4 cylinders, I could see that throwing some funky codes
