      K&N Air Filter

I just bought an 2009 AVEO5 1.6L ECOTEC and of course the first thing i wanna do is get some air through there... I'm getting 3in. exhaust pipe from cat back with a fart can to finish 'er off but K&N has yet to specifically say they have a filter for my car...

My question is: Has Chevy changed the air filter AT ALL the entire life of the Aveo from 2004+ (or whenever they started making them)? ...or will a K&N air filter from an earlier year work? I know that they used to be e-tec but i don't think there's much difference? 33-2320 is the K&N part number I'm looking at, will it fit on my car?

      Thanks everyone!

Heck, yeah! This is the thread that convinced me that a air bypass valve on a CIA was a must! I've been trying to figure out how to do the CAI, and had a similar question about the wheel liner. There's also another thread that talks about what a pain cutting off the airflow sensor off the old setup is... I am looking for that one... (Exacto knife was recommended, right?) but I am planning to install my CIA that I'll be getting from Chrome Intakes, and it will be my first car project! I got an 08 LS, and IF successful, I will gladly get some pics and post them, along with some how to for others! I uh... might have a few questions for the veterans here while preparing to do it!

I think i posted it in my build thread, not the cutting but the fitting, and what was used.
