      lsj swap questions (calling PR)

Just been really curious about doing an LSJ swap, and I was wondering if it has ever been done in an ecotec aveo? Would I need motor mount plates? Could I use the stock trans to simplify things by a lot? Could the stock trans handle roughly 240hp? (Seriously doubting that last one)

Gonna be a while before I do this, if I ever do, just kinda curious for the time being

Waiting for your response petrified rabbit lol. You always seem to know a lot on this stuff

Someone has already done the lsj swap. I read the thread on it. I know he pieced it together himself and learned a lot along the way. He also ended up with cobalt half shafts if I'm not mistaken, as he kept destroying the stock ones. Here's the link: http://www.aveoforum.com/forum/f82/e...ne-swap-10960/

Interesting read, and he was supposed to be getting a kit together for the swap as well.....

Yeah, I already read through that thread. However it answers none of my questions, because I have a different engine already in my aveo
