Hey. I almost never ask a question here unless I'm sure it's not a stupid one that's been repeated a million times. I do my own forum searching. Manually, and if I find a topic that isn't elaborated much on, then I do my own research. I only ask when I can't find anything at that point.
Am I the smartest noob here? O.o
'Failure' is my middle name...
Hahaha, U won this one my 'FURRY' friend! But 'I'LL BE BACK!'
z34guy, i assume you dont ask any questions because you dont own an aveo :P
its not necessarily, in my opinion, that bothersome if something can't be found.. if its that old its probably from before the rebuild by the new owners and should be revisited. but when the first three or for topics in the forum answer of address the same thing and someone posts yet again instead of just reading. Or posts that they are going to do all this stuff that you can't do because they havent actually looked but its available for honda so it MUST be available for the aveo.. when availability of what out there is overly covered..
Anyone get a price/parts list for this tranny yet? i'm think about it..
I prefer to plan things out in the extreme. I'm just on phase 1 which is do all the research I can on the Aveo to find what will bolt on and what won't. Then plan out what I want to do and estimate the total costs. Then Buy an Aveo and work piece by piece til it's done. Having driven an Aveo, I know that an automatic is out of the question (too lazy and dim-witted) as is the 1.6L engine (too small and too slow). I find researching options is my best bet. Besides, My plans for an Aveo project will cost a hell of alot less than what I've got planned for the Monte Carlo.
