      I did, page 6-23 of the 2008 Manual says only to use GM#89021806, not the type. A few google hits but nothing concrete.

      Weird. I just remembered from the online manual.
      I leased Pontiac Wave from September 2006 to August 2011.

      Use 75W90, that's what the manual says and what most standard manual trannies take these days. Although my 92 Camaro recomended Dextron w/ Mercron 3 ATF. That took some getting used to.
