manual transmission help
Installed new clutch assembly, clutch slave, and master cylinder.
The car stalls when I let the clutch out. The only thing I found hooking
up the linkage was pinning the shifter, moving linkage too neutral,
then putting linkage back together at the firewall.
When I do this I can not put the shifter in reverse and car stalls.
It seem the shift forks are out of alignment. I've tried adjusting at the firewall
with no luck. :sad1::sad1::sad1::sad1:
Thanks for any help.

I'm not that knowledgeable with front wheel transmission. Is there two shift rods?
The one on top under the battery/fuse box and is that a shift rod coming straight out of
firewall? Can I've gotten these out of sync when I had the linage off?
Not much shown on YouTube the one I'm going off of. The pin with a spring on top of the transmission
the pin should stay in once pushed in. How far is this pin push in?
Thanks JV

I'm now knowing the transmission is stuck in reveres. I have all linkage loose
What I believe the trans is in neutral shifting the shift rod on top of trans. The axle turns in reveres
if I shift the trans it locks up.
Any help????????
Thanks JV

Not to familiar with this shifter, guessing tho tranny must be in nuetral n shifter n nuetral, before linkage is attached n tighten up to tranny, on my p/u theres a 1/4 hole in shifter box where you slide a drill bit across to line up rods before they are connected to tranny arms, adjust to fit arms perfectly. sand rail has one arm rod that is basically same, nuetral alingment tranny n shifter, slide coupler onto tranny rod n tighten set screw.
