That should hold no problem daily driving, maybe even some street racing as long as it's not from a stand still, also be carefull with 3rd...that's where most of the problems are.

Also you should bring up in your thread on daewootech about what tranny you wanna use and what not. Depending what you do with the car, I'd probably recommend a slightly beefed up D20 (ask excistence what went in his two D20s). If you plan on doing 130+ plus, or just want a 6sp, then get a F28--I can help you with mounts and such. I went with the F28 for two main reasons; I'm shooting for a bit above 300wtq and at the time my D20 went (just from racing so hard) I hadn't an idea what it could handle, even beefed up. Then also I already hit 137mph (D20=5800rpm at 138, right where the power starts dropping w/ my old setup) with only 130whp. So I knew on several tracks, I'd be topping out a D20 on every lap on the straight and possibly even the semi-straight at ca speedway.

Or even a really beefed up D16, but D20s aren't expensive and are easy to come by, and I don't think the weight is much different. You alsoo really should consider an LSD, I can get you them, but the only ones available are from quaife and around $1,500....but so amazing. Car basicly takes corners itself with some power.

I think when i was talking to garett and chris i thnk they recommended the the f28 i think. Cuz 175whp is my starting goal which i can do on stock tranny and then this summer im gonna hope to have enough for a new beefed tranny to get about 250whp

d20 has difrent gear ratios from our d16
Its more fun to drive a slow car fast, rather than drive a fast car slow!

250whp isn't out of the reach of a D20--it wouldn't take much to make it work.

An F28 is a hassle to get, about 1k for at least a 60k mile one, then the parts to repair it are hard to get as well, then you need a new slave and custom mount. It's a great option, but if a D20 will work it might be better depending on what gear ratios you want and whatnot.

A manual Nubira or Leganza. Possibility exists that you could find a wrecked Forenza or Reno and use their transmission, but likelyhood is small.
