      My for real build thread. Lol.

      Ok so ive had a few different build threads but this one is for real.
      Right now im am going in this coming wednesday to have a custom long header and then also a custom exhaust.

      After that i will be having the same shop, hopefully, make me a custom intake manifold to hook up to the M62 supercharger that the Cobalt SS Supercharged uses.

      I will be re-locating my battery to the back of the car so i can run my intake down.

      Eventually i will also be hooking up an intercooler system and water/meth injection.

      Audicity on daewootech said he would be able to help me tune it using megasquirt.

      My preliminary goals are around the 160whp area.

      With more cooling mods i am hoping to closer to 200whp.

      If i feel like re-building the engine at some point i will build it to take some more power and i might add some n2o into the mix of things.

      I will have pictures up in a couple weeks of the headers and what not. I will probably not have them installed until the end of winter.

      good deal. Let me tell you. 160whp in a small car is fantastic. What psi do you plan on boosting initially? 5?

      Im at 5psi putting down about 155whp will be turning it up to 10psi and hope to be about 220whp

      Just asking question here........ why the m62 for 5psi you be way under the efficeny range of that blower maybe at 10psi you would be in it, and the m62 is quite large and is designed for large 4cylinders and v6's according to eaton compared to an m45, which is designed for smaller displacement 4 cyclinders. The Mini Cooper supercharged version uses it, and GM even uses it in their supercharger kit for the Cavalier/Sunfire with 2.4, with that you would be in the efficency range of the blower. Just a thought.

      I agree, the m45 would be better, and if you look on the eaton website, the m45 is still rated for 2.0 liters and up although the mini is a 1.6 liters.

      i must have missed he was getting a deal on it, they use the m45 on mini's and in the GM kit but it begins to be overspun on the 2.4 liter on the 2.6 inch pulley making about 8 psi but on a smaller motor, it can make more pressure.

      im looking to boost to 10 to start off with.
      if i can find a deal on an m45 or other small supercharger i will for sure go to that becuase of the efficency.

      theFITisSLOW your boosted in an aveo??

      does anyone know how much the GM sc kit is. If my friend doesnt turbo his balt im gonna have to probably just buy the brand new kit and just make it work.
